The Ashby’s Fort Museum is presenting “Fort Ashby Day” on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with special musical guest Greg Latta.
There will be a full day of activities throughout the village of Fort Ashby, including yard sales at various locations. Trinity United Methodist Church will be having a bake sale and other food for sale, as well as a yard sale.
The Ashby’s Fort Museum will be hosting a variety of re-enactors, craftspeople, artisans, and 18th century children’s games, as well as providing tours. Greg Latta, noted area musician, will be performing between 1-3 p.m.
Fort Ashby Day is sponsored in part by the Friends of the Fort, the Fort Ashby Chapter NSDAR, and the West Virginia Humanities Council.
