Caption: Chain pickerel (Esox niger): Chain pickerel are native to the Eastern Panhandle and the Ohio River, and can be found in a few southern West Virginia impoundments. Common habitat includes shallow water with abundant amounts of vegetation and overhanging bushes to deep water.
