Q. How do I format my posts?
A. If all you want to do is type some words, just type! What you see on screen is what you’ll get. If you want to get fancy, you need to know a little html.
<b> and </b> will bold the surrounding text.
<u> and </u> will underline the text.
<em> and </em> will italicize the text.
For instance, this bold text will help underline what I have to say about the novel, The Andromeda Strain.

Q. Can I insert a link?
A. Yes. You can just type the link, as in www.google.com, but it won’t link, people will have to copy and paste. If you want to make it a “hot link,” you have to use some html.
<a href="http://www.google.com">Google</a>
Google is linked. You have to use the full address with the http to make the link work.

Q. Can I insert a picture.
A. Yes, but again you have to know the html code for inserting pictures. Instead of the “a href” for a link, you use “img src.”

will get you this. (yes, this is what a car key looks like after someone has driven over it with a truck)
