Hey, so anybody know how much coal remains in the Pocahantas coalfield as of this year? It appears that 10 years ago 900 million tons remained. How long will that last? I hope a good long time, at least 75 years.

I actually heard from my dad that if there were 3 billion tons originally in the field as the article says, and if there is 900 million remaining, that that would mean that at least 2 billion tons have already been mined, which is a HUGE amount of coal. Are you sure your sources are correct?
