The manufactured housing industry in West Virginia is regulated under the West Virginia Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act, Chapter 21, Article 9, Code of West Virginia. There is a manufactured housing construction and safety board which was created under this act of the W.Va. legislature. This board, which is appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the State Senate, operates under the W.Va. Division of Labor.
