    We’ll discuss how to ask leading questions, how to make your interview subject feel at ease and how to keep an interview on track. It will include excerpts from previously recorded oral histories, along with examples of how to edit and prepare your recordings for sharing.

    Panel Discussion w/Sheila Redling, Marie Manilla & Carter Taylor Seaton. Carter Taylor Seaton is the award-winning author of two novels. She is also a regular contributor to Huntington Quarterly Magazine. Marie Manilla is a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. Her essays have appeared in Word Riot, Cossack Review, Still, and elsewhere. S.G. Redling is the author of more than a half dozen novels. A former morning radio host and avid traveler, Sheila is also a language geek, wine enthusiast, and a so-so gardener.
